Document Panel

IN THIS ARTICLE:

The Document Panel displays a selected document from your search results and allows you to access different views of the document, occurrences of search terms within, and associated metadata.

Title Bar

The following table explains each part of the Document Panel title bar:

Item Description
Document Shows the current document number out of the total search results. Entering a number in the Document field jumps to that document.
< > Moves to the previous or next document in the search results.
Related (#)

Shows the number of search result documents that are closely related to the currently displayed document.

Clicking the down arrow expands a menu where you can open those related documents.

#/# Hits < >

Displays the total number of search terms that appear in the currently displayed document.

Clicking < or > steps through each occurrence of the search term(s).

#/# Annotations < >

Displays the total number of annotations in the currently displayed document.

Clicking < or > steps through each annotation occurrence.

Navigation Bar

The following table explains each part of the Document panel navigation bar:

Item Description

Displays a table of metadata for the currently displayed document.

Displays all metadata from the currently displayed document, as well as the option to export that metadata.

Displays the coding history for the currently displayed document.
Display:

Displays one of the following views of the currently displayed document:

  • Extracted Text — Displays the text extracted from the original document.
  • Image — Displays an image of the original document.
  • Native — Displays the original source document itself.

Controls the magnification of the currently displayed document.


Expands the document display panel to the full width of the browser window.

Pops the panel out of the DART NXT workspace to its own window.
